Happy Birthday, Daddy!
He loves it just as much as the kids: "Vacations You Never Outgrow"
Up close with Lightning McQueen. We only take pictures when there's no lines... yay for no lines!
A waitress dropped a bucket of forks. Kids ran to help her pick them up & got blessed with free oreo shakes!
(He who refreshes others will himself be refreshed)
Tahitian dancing in Cali! They even had poi ball dancing during the Mickey Paintbrush Show :)
5 days in Disneyland allowed us time to relax & even go to the AMC theaters
Daddy tried to do a selfie in space mountain & blocked Abby's pose
We don't like waking up early on vacation, but it's worth it when the ride times for Tower of Terror, Toy Story, and California Screaming all say "5 minutes!"
60 years of existence. We've been celebrating w/them the last 10 years in a row. Tax returns=annual family vacations (but every year we travel w/new friends). And the good thing about Disney is, it's never the same. Always something new. This year is "Paint the Night," a new electric light parade, Mickey's Paintbrush show, and a Frozen show, too!
We should've sat in the front row. She totally knows where the cameras are and poses. Brave girl, California Screaming for like the 5th time.
Mickey's Paintbrush was quite intriguing! Worth seeing if you go! And Abby loved it because it had all her FAVORITE princesses. She's over Cinderella, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty. But she loves Pocahontas, Mulan, Rapunzel, and Merida (the outdoor funny ones).
All hands up for the cars race! We love fast passes!
Haven't seen it yet, but it says in honor of the "Inside Out" movie. Big THANK YOU to Uncle Ritchie for helping organize every detail of the trip & to all who generously pitched in to make this possible!!
Asa always only wants to sit by daddy. He says every ride still feels new to him. Abby "leads" absanity. Asa rides Tower of Terror @ age 6, started at @ 5.
We also decided to try dinner at Blue Bayou. It's a pretty fancy dinner. $61 for filet minion and lobster. But you also get select seats to see Fantasmik and comfy cushions you can keep. The cushions made a big difference to sit on while waiting and watching!
A Frozen sing-along! It was like one huge fancy karaoke room where everyone echoed and sang the songs in unison. The crowd also laughed as characters recapped the movie between song parts.
If you go to Turtle Talk early in the morning, it's pretty empty. Only 4 kids in the room so Abby was the first to get called on :)
On the last Disney day we met up with the Hahns. Momo was totally brave. She rode dollar coasters without hesitation. Poor Jemi. Didn't meet height requirements. She did see the Kardashians on the Pooh ride, though!
In California Adventure, there is an animation station where they teach you how to draw a character step-by-step. Abby did a great job with Pluto!
The Anna & Elsa Boutique opened in Downtown Disney. Most girls chose to be Anna or Elsa. Abby wanted to be different, and she chose Olaf! So, fancy!
And this is Abby dancing everywhere! Even if there was a lot of people, it was hard to lose the kids even in crowds. Asa had a florescent yellow hat and was always skipping around. Abby stands out because she's the only one dancing all over the place.
